To-Do Checklist

These are the steps that you should carry out before lectures begin on September 10, 2012. For more information contact the Registrar’s Office at 416-978-2460.

  • Accept your offer of admission by June 1 or the specified deadline by returning the response form to the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre or as otherwise instructed.
  • Make an appointment for an Academic Orientation Session with the New College Registrar’s Office. (Academic Orientation Sessions)
  • Attend your Academic Orientation Session, learn more about course selection and have your questions answered.
  • Beginning July 23, view your course enrolment start time on the Student Web Service (SWS): www.rosi.utoronto.ca. (If admitted to Second or Third Year you may view your start time earlier.)
  • Enrol in courses on July 30 using the SWS. (If admitted to Second or Third Year your start date is earlier.)
  • Request course and section changes (if desired) beginning in early August on the SWS (drop-in counselling will be available in August – phone ahead for schedule)
  • Pay fees at a bank or defer fees online by August 21. Keep your receipt. (You can print a fees invoice from the Student Web Service once you have enrolled in courses.)
  • Register at New College on September 4 with your alphabetical group.
  • Participate in Orientation Week events sponsored by the New College Student Council, September 4-7.
  • Drop-in to the College Registrar’s Office if you need help, September 4-7.
  • Start attending lectures on Monday, September 10.
