This fund will help support small and medium scale renovations and upgrades necessary within the College to ensure the maintenance and accessibility of student spaces, classrooms and common areas.

Merit and Access Based Scholarships

The College is committed to expanding its scholarship and bursary program in order to ease the financial pressures our students face as tuition and residence fees increase. We are interested in developing our pool of merit- and needs-based financial aide, admission and residence scholarships, and travel, in-course and program based awards.

International Experience Fund

New College offers students a number of opportunities to complement their coursework through active cultural, language and academic exchanges. Funds will enable students in our academic programs the opportunity to participate in an international course module to encourage research and study in various international settings, especially in Africa and the Caribbean. It will also support international student internships including current ones in Belize and Southern Africa.

Senior Doctoral Fellowships

To enable increased interaction between undergraduate students and graduate students pursuing relevant research, New College hosts senior doctoral fellowships for each of our academic programs. Each fellow is a senior graduate student who contributes to the intellectual life of the College, including mentoring undergraduate students, giving an academic seminar and participating in New College academic and community events. These fellowships also help our graduate students by providing them with dedicated space at the College, a small stipend and the opportunity to network with current Faculty members.
